SPECIALISED TOOTHED BELTS
FOR LINEAR MOTION SYSTEMS


BERVINA manufactures specialised endless polyurethane timing belts with coatings and special characteristics. The belts are one piece moulded and are formed using a centrifugal casting process and high performance polyurethane. All belts have embedded steel cable or Kevlar reinforcing.

The belts are used for linear drives in applications like packaging, sorting, forming and manufacturing. They are often found in food packaging and small component assembly machines.

Specifications and sizes are constantly changing and it is possible to do specials so please contact office for details.

BELT STYLE

CONSTRUCTION 

APPLICATION
Polyurethane Covered Belts 
A polyurethane cover is moulded onto a base belt providing a tough outer coating. Coating thickness usually 6mm.

Max belt length: 1200mm
Cover hardness: 40 to 95 ShA
Belt width: 100 to 210mm (depending on belt length)
 

Cable feeding

Silicon Covered Belts 
A silicon coating (6mm thick) is moulded onto a base belt. This provides high friction (for linear feeding), long life, good abrasion and chemical resistance and easy cleaning. Thermal conductivity is also low.

Max belt length: various sizes upto 1200mm in T10
Max belt width: 50mm
Available with vacuum (cord outside belt).

Moulded & Fabricated Belts
For special applications, belts can be manufactured with cleats or sections of teeth can be removed. 

Max belt length: 1200mm
Max belt width: 100-210mm (depending on belt length)
Profiles AT3, AT5, K, T2, T2.5, T5, M, XL
Reinforcing: kevlar, stainless steel

Sorting
FDA Belts
These belts are manufactured to FDA approval from polyurethane. They are designed for machines where the belts comes into direct contact with food or pharmacutical products. 

Max belt length: 1500mm
Max belt width: 100-210mm (depending on length)
No exposed cords or cables
Reinforcing: Kevlar, INOX, glass

Food Production
 

High Temperature Silicon Belts
These belts use silicon instead of polyurethane and as a result can withstand high temperatures in cooking processes.

Hardness
65 ShA at max temp 170 C
72 ShA at 90-130 C
88 ShA at 20 C

Max belt length: 1500mm

Heat Treatment
